Perth Auto Salon 07

The new European Civic Type-R Hatch. Apart from the wheels that i think are tastefully paired with the car, nothing much was done i suppose. Would make a pretty awesome car for the missus if only i could afford one. The front fascia, dual triangular tailpipes and the high-tech interior are the major draws for me, even though a lot of people think this version of the civic is a tad ugly, i think it's perfectly fine since it looks a more striking than the JDM civic SEDAN. I mean, come on, Type-R should strike fear, so a sedan just can't quite make the cut for me.

Typical attention whoring caucasian mod - Scissor doors, chrome wheels, candy paint. You can tell where the owner of the car comes from by how it is modified. If you squint harder you'll notice that the person is placing hundred dollar bills(Aussie dollar) on the ground.

300C with chrome wheels. You can't be a mafia boss until you have one of these on your driveway.

Pretty standard Lotus Exige-S

Moving pimp crib. Hummer H2 fully laden with audio and visual goodies.

Ridiculously huge Ford F-250. And by huge, i mean HUGE. This is what Chuck Norris would drive when he's not busy roundhouse kicking.

Another proof of my theory of Aussie mods - an outrageously modified Mazda RX7. Pretty nicely done up, except for the horrendous bonnet with a protruding lcd. Good thing is that it usually rolls about with a regular vented carbon fibre bonnet.

Not bad looking Mazda RX-7.

Another one.

And another one. But this one looks far better than the previous 3 combined. If only it had clear fixed headlamps instead of those ugly flappy ones.

Subaru Impreza WRX. Pretty sweet car, with quite some mods in the engine bay. Too bad it spots chrome wheels, totally killed the chance of it appearing at least presentable.

Ver. 9 WRX STI.

Nissan Silvia S15. Has some simple engine and visual modifications. I hope i could get one of these babies as the first or second car i can actually buy when i start working, would look freakishly awesome with an ings+1 kit, top secret carbon fibre hood and GT-Wing, and 18 inch Yokohama Advan RS wheels.

Toyota Supra MkIV. Simple and nice. Would look better with newer headlamps though.

Nissan Skyline GT-T.

Another one.

Again.

Nissan Skyline GT-R.

And another one.

Obligatory Honda NSX. Still as good looking even after nearly 20 years.

Now this is what i hope i could achieve after an s15. Midnight purple GT-R, riding on 19 inch bronze Volk Racing TE-37s. A visual definition of perfection, definitely what can be considered as automotive pornography.

Great coverage CKWei, but whats with Auzzys and their crome bling rims? Even on Oz mags, there is too much bling wheel adds on them..

That civic R hatch will definately make a good car for both our missus', too bad mine is more interested in a 350Z.. *sob sob*

I was just about to curse at that RX7 owner with the TV monitor protruding from the bonnet, till u said it rolls about with a regualr CF bonnet then i sighed with releif..

The blue RX7 is stunning, ive always had a soft spot for rotaries..

Top choice on the S-15 as your first buy.. that particular black one looks real good, with the colour combo graphics & lighting..

And why Midnight Purple and not Blue for the GTR?? hehe.. actually my fav is also midnight purple.. some guys have been asking me to paint it mp3, but I havent gotten bored of the TV2 just yet..

heh poor you.. but hey, at least you earn so much more! my gf would be contented with a jazz or a yaris she said, nothing fancy needed, but then yeah, i think she'd look great in a euro CTR or a 350z :P there are just some thing about hot girls in hot cars that gets me, cant fight it =/

if you think the lcd rx7 is bad, you'd be wrong. there was one i think a clk cabrio owned by an indon student which exhibited together with his car club, and u know what? the damn car has a damn lcd stuck to the FRONT GRILLE. it was perpendicular to the slope of the bonnet, so you can imagine how hideous it looked. i was afraid that my lens would crack for taking pics of crimes like that.

i like the green one more tho, wheels on the blue one doesnt quite suit my taste. but yeah, the rx7 has a timeless look to its lines.

i fell in love with the s15 the first time i saw it in the hk car magazine option. that time i didn't know what it was called, but after i found out its name a few years later, i knew i had to have one. having the opportunity to sit in one of those here in aus further fueled my desire, and the affordable price of it here at abt 25k aud made it look all the more possible :)

well, u'll never know russ. when i can finally afford a gtr, most probably i'll have it in tv2 first and later lv4 when i'm bored of it since the missus loves her cars in blue :P

Man it seems like you don't like any of the cars that people did extreme mods on. Those who don't have, hate on those that do. The Revolving Circle Of Negativity
